Beacon entered their tilt with Marlboro Central on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Dukes with a sharp 14-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Beacon's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Marlboro Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-7.
