Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Altavista walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the William Campbell Generals 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Colonels, who have now won four contests in a row.

Altavista's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for William Campbell, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.

As of now, neither Altavista nor the Generals have any future games scheduled.
