AAAAA Region 7A recap November 13, 2013
Creekview added to the longest winning streak in AAAAA Region 7A this week by beating Sprayberry, 35-13. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Forsyth Central moved up to 339 from 369 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of topping Osborne 38-3.
Bryan Moore threw for 215 yards and 56 touchdowns. He was 18-34 with 1 interception.
Moore put up the best numbers through the air as Cambridge lost to Kell. Moore's favorite target this week was Christian Johnston, who caught 5 passes for 80 yards.
Northview's Dj Pearson and Matty Biondich led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pearson has thrown for 2,531 yards this season, while Biondich has 75 catches for 1,225 yards. Isaiah Rodgers from Creekview leads the league in rushing with 937 yards.
Terry Crowder's team's Rodgers is a mere 63 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Rodgers has rushed for 937 yards on 193 carries so far this year.
So far this year, Moore has thrown for 1,984 yards with 108 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
The Bears fell to the Longhorns 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Moore was a bright spot for Cambridge, as he ran for 26 yards in the defeat.
