The West Catholic Falcons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Fruitport, posting a 58-7 win at home. The result was nothing new for West Catholic, who have now won eight games by 26 points or more so far this season.
West Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charlie DeBruyn , who rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown. Carter Abram got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
West Catholic's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Leading the way was Ethan Stoner and his three sacks.
West Catholic's victory was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. As for Fruitport, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
West Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fruitport is also done with their season.
