There's no place like home for the Centennial Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 48-37 victory over Mountain View on Tuesday. For Centennial, this counts as revenge for the 50-29 loss Mountain View walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Despite the defeat, Mountain View saw an underclassman step up: Quincy Keller scored 19 points along with 3 steals. The contest was Keller's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Hatfield, who scored 8 points.
Centennial now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Centennial will head out on the road to face off against Rigby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rigby knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge. As for Mountain View, they will be playing at home against Boise at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Boise will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
