Last Thursday, Battle Creek Academy made easy work of the Griffons and carried off a 44-21 victory. The victory was just what Battle Creek Academy needed coming off of a 55-16 defeat in their prior matchup.
Battle Creek Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Olivia Keller, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds, and Sofia Keller, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Keller has scored at least a third of Battle Creek Academy's points. Katie Grentz was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Factoryville Christian put another one in the bag last Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pansophia Academy 53-10 at home.
Battle Creek Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Factoryville Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
