On Monday, Great Mills strolled past Oakland Mills with  points to spare, taking the game  60-44. Given Great Mills' advantage  in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings  (they are ranked 54th, while Oakland Mills is ranked 254th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  DeAndre Dorsey was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 21 points along with seven  assists and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Cameron Brooks, who  scored six points along with 15  rebounds and eight  blocks.
 Great Mills' victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Oakland Mills, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-9.
 Great Mills will head out on the road to  face off against  Northern at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Oakland Mills, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Wilde Lake at 6:00  p.m.
