The Castle Knights's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Crown Point Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on December 27th. Castle has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 324 points over their last five matches.
Last Saturday, Castle earned a 59-47 victory over Danville. That 59-47 margin sets a new team best for Castle this season.
Castle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Lambert, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. The game was Lambert's third in a row with at least ten points. Adler Mcatee was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Crown Point unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. Their tough 52-31 loss to Brownsburg might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crown Point has scored all season.
Castle's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Crown Point, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.
Castle came up short against Crown Point in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 62-55. Can Castle avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
