Jalen Sutton Delivers Best Performance of Season
Jalen Sutton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Evansville Harrison to the win on Friday. Sutton rushed for 191 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 84 yards.
The win snapped Evansville Harrison's winning streak at ten games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-7 record. Sutton and Evansville Harrison are taking a road trip to take on Evansville Mater Dei at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Matthew Fisher Dazzles in Evansville Memorial Victory
Evansville Memorial picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Matthew Fisher. Fisher did his part (and then some), throwing for 350 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground for the 'W'.
For the season, Fisher has thrown 21 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 209.4 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 6.86 passing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Luke Ellspermann Leads Evansville Memorial over Evansville Reitz
Evansville Memorial was led to victory by Luke Ellspermann, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ellspermann picked up 201 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 62 yards.
Unfortunately for Evansville Reitz, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ellspermann. When Ellspermann last faced the Panthers back in November of 2023, he rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 76 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.

Jason Rucker Ii Delivers Electric Performance Vs Vincennes Lincoln
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jason Rucker Ii stepped things up a notch to give Evansville North the 'W'. Vincennes Lincoln had no answer to Rucker Ii as he rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Rucker Ii is becoming a predictor of Evansville North's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).
Evansville North pushed their record up to 3-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Rucker Ii and Evansville North will host Jasper at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Max Mccool and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Max Mccool was instrumental in extending Castle's winning streak to five on Friday. Mccool was unstoppable, rushing for 147 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Mccool must have Jasper's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Mccool saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
