St. Helens will challenge Forest Grove on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Forest Grove will be strutting in after a win while St. Helens will be stumbling in from a loss.
After a dominant victory in their game two weeks ago, St. Helens were humbled last Thursday. They were completely outmatched, falling 14-67 to Wilsonville. St. Helens were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-57.
Meanwhile, Forest Grove won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Hood River Valley 22-21. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
St. Helens's defeat took them down to 3-4 while Forest Grove's victory pulled them up to 5-2. We'll see if St. Helens can steal Forest Grove's luck or if Forest Grove records another win instead.
