The Bell Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Trenton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Bell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Bell suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 85-42 loss at the hands of Lafayette.
Meanwhile, Trenton entered their tilt with Branford with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Trenton came out on top against Branford by a score of 73-64 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Trenton found their leader in underclassman Mason VunCannon, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Clark Hausner was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Bell bumped their record down to 1-17 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Trenton, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Bell took a serious blow against Trenton when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 56-24. Can Bell avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
