There's no place like home for Sports Leadership & Management, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Desert Pines Jaguars on Thursday. Considering the Bulls have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Talan Everett made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Everett was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Alex Garcia and Leo Caterine did most of the damage at the plate: Garcia got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Caterine went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Sports Leadership & Management is undefeated when Garcia posts two or more stolen bases, but 9-17 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of River Crose-Weyrich, who earned one RBI, three runs, and one stolen base.

Sports Leadership & Management was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Desert Pines only posted a batting average of .080.

Sports Leadership & Management's win bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Desert Pines, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-17-1.

Coming up, Sports Leadership & Management will face off against Virgin Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulls' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. Desert Pines does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
