Nataleigh Ball was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4.
Ball wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isabel Dial, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
