Wheatland-Grinnell won the last time they faced Weskan and things went their way on Monday too. The Thunderhawks came out on top against the Coyotes by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderhawks.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wheatland-Grinnell was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-6.

Aliviah Ball paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up nine kills. Ball got some help from Evangeline Godek and her 13 assists. Godek also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brooklyn Thomas, each putting up two.

Wheatland-Grinnell's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Weskan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Wheatland-Grinnell has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Dighton on the 6th. As for Weskan, they will face off against Golden Plains at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
