After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tuscola, Pisgah was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Mount Pisgah Academy Mountaineers as they made off with a 9-2 victory. With that win, Pisgah brought their scoring average up to 2.6 goals per game.

They hit Mount Pisgah Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Delaney Pifer (7), Kylee Mesimer, and Raelynn Vaughn.

Pisgah's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4-1. As for Mount Pisgah Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Pisgah will challenge East Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Pisgah Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Bears' game: after the Bears faces off against North Henderson, they'll take on Mount Pisgah Academy again at 5:30 p.m. on May 8.
