Softball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Cazenovia's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Cazenovia and Skaneateles, and Cazenovia kept the tradition alive. Cazenovia put the hurt on Skaneateles with a sharp 16-4 victory on Monday. Cazenovia might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by nine runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Caitee Fenton, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madden Cobb, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Cazenovia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
