Basketball Recap: Freedom Life Academy Piles Up the Points Against Immanuel Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Faith Training Christian Academy, Freedom Life Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Immanuel Christian Lions, posting a 50-15 win. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Freedom Life Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gavin Solomon led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Solomon has scored at least a third of the Patriots' points. Another player making a difference was Ian Sanders, who posted nine points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Despite the loss, Immanuel Christian still got an impressive performance from Ethan Tisdale, who had eight points.

Freedom Life Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Immanuel Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Freedom Life Academy has already played their next game, a 55-22 win against Mount Olive Christian on the 18th. As for Immanuel Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-22 loss against Psalms Christian Academy on the 21st.
