Dillon Gainey and Trinnon Jackson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Coahoma. The connection went for 56 yards, the longest such play in 2A-2 Region I District 4 this season.
Colorado was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Wolves triumphed over the Bulldogs 45-8.
Colorado's dynamic duo of Gainey and Jackson proved to be unstoppable against Coahoma, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gainey threw for 301 yards and 5 touchdowns and Jackson had 114 yards receiving. Nick Palacios helped Colorado's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 65 yards.
Dan Gainey's team's dynamic duo of Gainey and Jackson proved tough for Stacey Martin's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Calvin Seago was the best running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 97 yards as Hawley beat the Bulldogs. Levi Irby also contributed to the rushing game with 45 yards on the ground.
Gainey put up the best numbers in passing as Colorado beat Coahoma.
Jackson was the best receiver in 2A-2 Region I District 4 this week as the Wolves bested the Bulldogs.
Coleman moved up to 552 from 649 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bluecats climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Early 34-0.
