AAAA Region II recap November 13, 2013
Mauldin scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Boiling Springs, 83-70. At the time, the Bulldogs were ranked 16th in the state, while the Mavericks were 34th.

Leading AAAA Region II in both passing and receiving yards, the Rebels' Bentley and Meadors have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Bentley has thrown for 3,930 yards this season, while Meadors has 65 catches for 1,442 yards. Foster from the Indians leads the league in rushing with 1,318 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Gaffney and Rick Tate's team. Dan Jones' team comes into the matchup ranked 13th in the state, while the Bulldogs ranks 22nd.
The Mavericks were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. Mauldin vanquished Boiling Springs 83-70 earlier in the week.
