She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lyla Pittenger, who went 4-for-5 with eight RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Maddie Childers was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one run.
