Last Wednesday, Gonzales lost to North Salinas on the road by a decisive 71-55 margin.
Meanwhile, Rancho San Juan earned a 65-57 victory over North Salinas on Friday.
Gonzales has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Rancho San Juan, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7.
Gonzales came up short against Rancho San Juan in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 69-56. Can Gonzales avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
