After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Twin Falls, Ridgevue was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Minico Spartans by a score of 6-3. The Warhawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Preston Wade looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Logan Hirasaki was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Forster, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
Ridgevue now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Minico, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
