It was a proper cat-fight when Shelby County took on Central of Coosa County on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Shelby County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-18, 25-9.

Kaydence Connell paced Shelby County's offense, picking up 13 kills. Connell got some help from Wendy McGehee and her 23 assists. McGehee also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Madison Tolleson, each putting up five.
