United waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wellsville Tigers 53-24. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 26 points or more this season.

United has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.2 points per game. As for Wellsville, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. United will take on East Liverpool at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. United is facing East Liverpool at the right time seeing as East Liverpool is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wellsville, they will head out on the road to square off against Conotton Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
