Volleyball Recap: Zoe Newton and Macey Ascherman Secure Win for CORE Butte + How To Watch

The CORE Butte Lynx beat the Anderson Cubs 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lynx.

CORE Butte had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-12.

Leading CORE Butte to victory were Macey Ascherman and Zoe Newton. Ascherman had six digs, five aces, and one block, while Newton had eight digs and four aces. That's the most digs Newton has posted since back in October of 2024.
