Softball Recap: Grandview Picks Up 23rd Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Grandview rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Whitesboro Bearcats 9-3. Considering the Zebras have won 25 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the 23rd in a row for Grandview, bringing their record up to 35-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Whitesboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-12.

As of now, neither Grandview nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
