Athens' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Heath Tigges, who scored 4 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Flynn, who scored 8 points.
The win got Climax-Scotts back to even at 2-2. As for Athens, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
