Ella Godfrey was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
