It's playoff time, and Spotswood had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Kettle Run Cougars on Friday as they made off with a 10-3 win. Brady Hoover made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Camden Blank was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Drew Hawkins was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
