The Legacy Charter Eagles lost against the Forest Lake Academy Panthers back in January of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Legacy Charter fell 46-39 to Forest Lake Academy. Legacy Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Legacy Charter still got an impressive performance from Mallory Daniels, who scored 20 points along with six assists and five steals. Daniels is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ashlyn Kraus was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Legacy Charter's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8. As for Forest Lake Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Legacy Charter won't have much time to rest: their next match is against First Academy at 10:00 a.m. on January 19th. Forest Lake Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Foundation Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th.
