Killingly scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Bacon Academy as Killingly made off with a 68-44 victory. That 24 points margin sets a new team best for Killingly this season.
Meanwhile, Putnam came up short against Lyman Memorial on Friday and fell 49-36. Putnam has not had much luck with Lyman Memorial recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Killingly's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Putnam, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Killingly didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Putnam in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 56-52 win.
