Alex Branco and Marc Donati made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Branco tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Donati didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Branco a new career-high in strikeouts (three). At the plate, Branco got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, while Donati went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI.

Old Colony RVT's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Norfolk County Agricultural, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
