Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Ava Zdanowski stepped things up a notch to give Lapel the 'W'. Zdanowski struck out eight batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. The effort marked the most strikeouts she has had since back in April of 2024.

Zdanowski and Lapel will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Madison-Grant at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
