Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to Laconia, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They took the matchup and then some with a 56-12 win on Friday over Epping/Newmarket. Laconia were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Laconia back to even at 3-3. The loss dropped Epping/Newmarket's record to 1-4.
Laconia will look to defend their home turf next week against Stevens at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. Epping/Newmarket will stay at home against Lebanon at 1:30 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
