The South Ripley Raiders won the last time they faced the Knightstown Panthers, and things went their way  on Thursday too. South Ripley took down Knightstown 44-26.
 South Ripley's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Lexi Franklin, who  scored seven points along with 12  rebounds. Franklin also  posted two  blocks for the first time this season.  Reese Obendorf was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with five  assists.
 Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Lexi Thomas, who  scored three points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Jaycie Cole, who  scored eight points.
 South Ripley is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Knightstown, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost seven of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
 South Ripley will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Milan at 6:00  p.m.  on January 2nd. Milan is coming into the  matchup on a four-game losing streak. Knightstown will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shenandoah at 6:00  p.m.  on January 5th. Shenandoah is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
