After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Francis Borgia, Fox was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hazelwood West Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Fox was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.

Fox's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-17-2. As for Hazelwood West, they dropped their record down to 5-15-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fox will challenge Lindbergh at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Hazelwood West, they will take on North Point at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Grizzlies will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
