After a big victory against Oklahoma School for the Deaf two weeks ago, Louisiana School for the Deaf came back down to earth. On Saturday, Louisiana School for the Deaf were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Mississippi School for the Deaf. If Louisiana School for the Deaf were expecting to get some payback for the 14-62 loss against Mississippi School for the Deaf the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Louisiana School for the Deaf's record to 2-1. Mississippi School for the Deaf added further sheen to their flawless record, now 3-0.
Next week Louisiana School for the Deaf take on Alabama School for the Deaf at 7:00 PM. Mississippi School for the Deaf will be playing at home against Oklahoma School for the Deaf at at 6:00 PM. These teams both seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
