The Ozark Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Neosho 77-58. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Ozark as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Neosho saw an underclassman step up: Kaiden Asberry scored 19 points along with four steals. Asberry hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Tyrone Harris was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Ozark's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Neosho, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-16.
Ozark will face off against Republic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ozark has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 214 points over their last three games. As for Neosho, they will be playing at home against Carl Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Neosho focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
