Bishop Timon-St. Jude's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaiden Harrison, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Harrison hasn't dropped below 15 points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nakyhi Harris, who scored 21 points.
Jay?meir Goosby was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. Gionni Zelasko was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight assists and two steals.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude will look to defend their home court on Thursday against The Park School of Buffalo at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Bishop Timon-St. Jude's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Francis is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season.
