In what's become a running theme this season, Kettle Run gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. Everything went their way against the Meridian Mustangs as the Kettle Run Cougars made off with  a  10-4 win. The  victory was just what Kettle Run needed coming off of  a  20-0 defeat in their prior  contest.
 Kettle Run let  Emerson Golden and  Ryan Drew loose on the outfield. Golden  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances, while  Drew  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mandy Holmes, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  triple.
 Kettle Run's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Meridian, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kettle Run will  face off against Fauquier at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Kettle Run is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.6  runs per game  this season. As for Meridian, they are on the road again  on Monday to play Skyline at 6:00  p.m.
