Kohelet Yeshiva have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 65-45 margin over Foundation Collegiate Academy. Winning may never get old, but Kohelet Yeshiva sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Kohelet Yeshiva got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Asher Kahlon out in front who scored 26 points. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him. Izzy Weiner was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Kohelet Yeshiva's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.33 points. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kohelet Yeshiva will square off against Community Academy of Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Foundation Collegiate Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
