Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Madeira's Winning Streak

If Madeira was feeling good fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Deer Park on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS fell just short of the Indian Hill Braves by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Braves' pitcher proved too tough.

Madeira moved to 12-5 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Indian Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madeira will venture away from home to square off against Deer Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Indian Hill, they will head out to face off against Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.31 runs per game on average), something the Braves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
