Monomoy had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 25-run drubbing they dealt Rising Tide on Wednesday. The Sharks never let Rising Tide get on the board and left with a 25-0 victory. The Sharks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Rising Tide, too.

Monomoy's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.
