Bishop Rosecrans has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Harvest Prep Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Harvest Prep took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop Rosecrans, who comes in off a win.
Bishop Rosecrans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Miller by a score of 49-40. The win was just what Bishop Rosecrans needed coming off of a 40-8 loss in their prior contest.
Bishop Rosecrans found their leader in underclassman Abby Sagan, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Sagan scored 15 or more points. Maddie Bernett was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Harvest Prep had to settle for a 53-50 defeat against Johnstown-Monroe on Sunday.
Bishop Rosecrans' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for Harvest Prep, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Bishop Rosecrans was taken down by Harvest Prep 46-9 in their previous meeting back in January. Thankfully for Bishop Rosecrans, Christyn Anthony (who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
