Holton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sabetha, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Bluejays with a sharp 21-1 win on Monday. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Holton back to even at 2-2. As for Sabetha, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Holton is set to take on their familiar foe Perry-Lecompton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sabetha will face off against rival Nemaha Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
