Basketball Recap: Boys Latin Falls Short Against Ranked Our Lady of Mount Carmel

On Friday, Boys Latin faced Our Lady of Mount Carmel in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Boys Latin Lakers lost 82-61 to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars. The Lakers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Boys Latin's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boys Latin will venture away from home to take on McDonogh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boys Latin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully McDonogh likes a good challenge. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, they will challenge John Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
