After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dutchtown, the Pike County Pirates were happy to have found some success on Monday. They never let Lamar County onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Sophie Moss had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Pike County.
The win got Pike County back to even at 1-1.
Pike County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw vs. Houston County on the 10th. Lamar County will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m.
