Serena's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Amboy Clippers as they made off with  an  11-1 win. The Huskers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by ten  runs or more this season.
 Cassie Walsh made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  stolen bases and one  run. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  RayElle Brennan, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple.  Jenna Setchell was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
Serena has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Amboy, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 3-12-1.
