Lexington won the last time they faced Wellington-Napoleon, and things went their way on Friday, too. Lexington had enough points to win and then some against Wellington-Napoleon, taking their game 42-24.
Lexington's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 20 points in the first half. Wellington-Napoleon came up with 12 to make it 20-12 heading into the break. The offense for Lexington continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 22 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 3-0. The defeat dropped Wellington-Napoleon's record to 1-2.
Next week Lexington take on Brookfield at 7:00 PM. As for Wellington-Napoleon, they will face off against Santa Fe.
