After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, St. Martinville brought some dynamite into their most recent  match. Everything went their way against Jeanerette on Wednesday as they made off with  a  12-3 victory. The  win was a breath of fresh air for St. Martinville as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

 Logan Bienvenu and  Kamryn Leblanc made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Bienvenu   tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Leblanc   tossed 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. St. Martinville is 2-1 when  Bienvenu allows two or  fewer  hits, but 7-14 otherwise. At the plate,  Bienvenu  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-4, while  Leblanc  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances. Those  three  stolen bases gave  Leblanc a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Dixon Aymond and  Jayton Walker did most of the damage at the plate:  Aymond  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances, while  Walker  scored two  runs and  stole three bases. Walker has become a key player for St. Martinville: the team is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 6-14 otherwise.  Ashlon Smith was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
